ALI KARIM General Manager
Mr. Karim is focused in Legend Health on the combination, on one hand, of rapid growth by acquisitions, and, on the other hand, of maintaining a cohesive infrastructure of operations, information technology, financial management, and talent management. Mr. Karim was first trained as an attorney, thereafter on Wall Street as a Mergers & Acquisitions investment banker and a private equity professional at a $20B private equity firm focused on healthcare. As an operator, Mr. Karim’s experience in healthcare includes development and sale of 29 surgery centers in 2010 in 3 states to 3 different purchasers, with a total equity sale value of $71M. Thereafter, and most recently, he developed a regional Clinically Integrated Delivery Network with more than 2,000 primary care providers and 1,500 narrow-network specialists for the purpose of taking full payor risk. Mr. Karim attended the University of Michigan Law School and Columbia University’s MBA program, after undergraduate and graduate studies in the humanities at Georgetown University and University of Florida, respectively
